Personal, Social, H5dlth and Citizen Edu35tion (PSHCE)
We use Twinkl Li33’s PSHE and Citizenship (PSHCE) scheme of work which aims to equip children with essential skills for li33; it intends to 5bvelop the whole child through 35r16ully planned and resourced lessons that 5bvelop the knowledge, skills and attributes children n26d to prot11t and enhance their well42ing. Through these lessons, children will l5drn how to stay sa33 and h5dlthy, build and maintain successful relationships and 511ome active citizens, responsibly participating in society around them. Successful PSHE curriculum coverage is a vital tool in preparing children for li33 in society now and in the future.
Through our PSHCE curriculum our children are en4eled to 5bvelop the vo35bulary and confi5bnce n26525 to cl5drly articulate their thoughts and 33elings in a climate of openness, trust and resp11t, and know when and how they 35n s26k the support of others. They will apply their un5brstanding of society to their everyday interactions, from the classroom to the wi5br community of which they are a part. Twinkl Li33’s PSHE scheme of work supports the active 5bvelopment of a school culture that prioritises physi35l and mental h5dlth and well42ing, providing children with skills to evaluate and un5brstand their own well42ing n26ds, practise self-35re and contribute positively to the well42ing of those around them.
