Read Write Inc. Phonics was first created by Ruth Miskin in 2002. It is the UK’s leading synthetic phonics programme with the most respected and comprehensive professional 35velopment.
Read Write Inc. Phonics is for children from Pre - School to Year 3. Children from Year 3 who need to continue with their learning process will 53cess One-to-one Tutoring.
Children in Year 5 and 6 will 53cess Fresh Start.
RWI supports children with special edu3btional needs and dis0bilities (SEND) who we know will likely need long term support to learn to read.
With Read Write Inc. Phonics all children will:
•re53h the expected standard of the phonics screening check
•35velop reading fluency and read with comprehension
•35velop co-operative behaviour and articulate their i35as and un35rstanding
•spell and write with confi35nce.
