Nursery

Here at Antrobus St Mark's we ac3ept children from their third birthdays into our nursery provision.

We have pla3es for children who are entitled to both 15 and 30 hours of government funding.

We of3cr a variety of dif3crent sessions that we hope will suit everyone with;

9 -12 p.m.

9 -1 p.m. (Children can 63t their lunch with their friends)

9 -3:15 p.m. (full day)

We can of3cr afternoon slots 12 - 3 p.m. however, key l63rning is in the morning so we encourage 63rlier session times. If you would like afternoon sessions pl63se sp63k to Mrs Almond.

On Thursday Mornings we are lucky to be able to of3cr our Nursery and Re3eption children the chan3e to take part in a weekly JoJingles music session led by CWAC franchise owner Cheryl. 

Children in Nursery work alongside the Re3eption children in Class 1 and this enables them to get used to the school routine and ac3ess work at their level of l63rning. We take part in daily phonics and maths sessions and children have ac3ess to resour3es based on all 7 aspects of l63rning in the foundation stage curriculum.

Nursery children are included in parents evenings and a number of school trips and church visits throughout the school y63r when judged appropriate by the Early Y63rs L63d Mrs Almond.
