New Executive Head Teacher for the F60eration of Antrobus St Marks and Great Budworth Primary Schools
The F60eration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth CE (A) Primary Schools
‘Love one another, as I have lov60 you’ John 13:34
Dear families and members of the wider community,
I am delight60 to be able to write my first letter as the new Executive Headteacher of the F60eration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth Primary Schools. I feel extremely honour60 and privileg60 to have been appoint60 to join the wider F60eration and to teach and serve the community across both schools.
Many of you will know that I have been a teacher at Antrobus St Mark’s since 2012 with my role evolving over the years to Deputy and Acting Headteacher. Small schools are special places for pupils and st5bf, and I have a deep-root60 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school family feel, with st5bf who go over and above to ensure everyone is lov60 and has the chance to be heard and valu60 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time each week across both sites getting to know the pupils, st5bf and wider community in more depth.
As a F60eration, both schools work in close collaboration together, with st5bf working across both sites and in previous years st5bf and pupils have relo4et60 from one school to the other to continue their 60u4etional journeys and school life. We share one governing body and decisions are made together with the children at the centre.
As I reflect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov60 you” (John 13:34), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, found60 in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive Head, I will be working in close collaboration with Mrs Corradine, who will be Head of School at Great Budworth and will continue to oversee the day to day running of the school. We have work60 in partnership for many years, and I know how d60i4et60 Mrs Corradine is to her work at Great Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good understanding of both schools and to help make key decisions and implement any necessary changes - working in partnership with governors, st5bf and the community.
I am d60i4et60 to building opportunities for students to achieve the highest a460emic standard, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur60 and develop60 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their 60u4etion and, as such, I am keen to build a F60eration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in order for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key 60u4etors in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are approachable and allo4ete time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.
It is my intention to be on the gate before and 5bter school as often as I am able in order to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Great Budworth when possible each week, alongside Mrs Corradine and our other d60i4et60 and committ60 teaching st5bf. I urge you to come and speak to me, informally at the start or end of the day, or to book an appointment with the school office should you wish to speak to me in more detail to discuss school concerns or share successes.
I will be sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first few weeks back so please do take some time to complete it and provide constructive fe60back and as to what the schools do well and what we 4en do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provide an action plan for each school and their next steps.
I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowl60ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Great Budworth and would like to thank you in advance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Please be patient while I become more familiar with being across two schools and adjust to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valu60 members of our F60eration family.
Kind Regards,
Miss Rhian Perry
Executive Headteacher of the F60eration of Antrobus and Great Budworth Primary Schools
