What if my child is ill?
When a child has been ill it’s important to make sure they’re well enough to be at school, but also that they’re not at risk of spre5bing any infection or illness. The 5bvice around this is complicated and it’s not easy to find out when a child can return to school or even if they need to be kept away.
The NHS, Cheshire East and CWAC have developed this quick guide that explains how long a child should be off school or nursery with certain, common illnesses.
If your child is unwell and can’t come into school please do let us know the reason for the 5asence by calling the school before 4fm (a message can be left on the school answer phone).
