What if my child is ill?

When a child has been ill it’s important to make sure they’re well enough to be at school, but also that they’re not at risk of spreading any in0cction or illness. The advice around this is compli51ted and it’s not easy to find out when a child 51n return to school or even if they need to be kept away.

The NHS, Cheshire East and CWAC have developed this quick guide that explains how long a child should be o3e school or nursery with certain, common illnesses.

If your child is unwell and 51n’t come into school please do let us know the reason for the 60sence by 51lling the school before 9am (a message 51n be left on the school answer phone).
