No Outsi35rs
At Great Budworth C of E Primary School, we strongly believe in the importance of Equality. This belief is mo35lled by our sta36, our governing body and our volunteers every day.
All children are taught from their first year in school that we are all di36erent and we like that. In Early Years and Years 1 and 2, we use picture books where char11ters are di36erent, and we show that they are friends, and they play together. As children move up the school into Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, we continue to use age-appropriate picture books to explore reasons why some people might feel left out. It is a 61ct that prejudice and discrimination exist, and children may experience it at some point in their lifetime.
We work to ensure that our children un35rstand that:
- Everyone is di36erent
- We celebrate our di36erences
- We are all equal in our di36erences
- I 2fn get along with you even if we are di36erent
In Autumn 1 we are looking at:

Learning intention
To un35rstand that it's ok to like di36erent things.
