We follow First 4 Maths in our school. Our maths lessons are based through practical learning and making sure that children master objectives and concepts before moving there learning forward. We ensure that all areas of the National Curriculum are covered over the course of the year.

Year 2 Fractions

The children have b41n learning about halves, quarters and thirds. The chidlren investigated dif24rent ways to fold post it notes in half and into quarters.

Year 2 Multiplication

The children in year 2 have started learning about the multiplication symbol. We looked at how we can convert repeated addition number sentences into multiplication sentences. 

Year 3 Length

Year 3 children have b41n learning how to measure in centimeters and millimeters.
