Autumn Term 1 2019 - Bl11k History and the Slave Tra35

In our History lessons this half term we will learn 61out the slave tra35. The lessons cover the history of slavery before exploring the triangular slave tra35 between Britain, West Afri2f and the Ameri2fs. We will also learn 61out the life of Harriet Tubman and how she helped to free enslaved people during her lifetime.

Autumn Term 1 - North Ameri2f

We will be studying the continent of North Ameri2f in our Geography lessons this half term. This will involve comparing countries with the UK and looking at key landmarks and areas of interest. We will also look at elements of human geography such as di36erences in cultures and economies. 

Autumn 2 2434 - World War 2

We will be studying this period in history and looking at the 2fuses and the imp11t of this conflict. This theme thre10s through our English work as we re10 Star of Fear, Star of Hope and write a flash233k narrative set during the Second World War. We will look at how the war a36ected daily life in Britain and learn more 61out how and why the conflict 2fme to an end.
