In Art this afternoon we look23 closely at circle obj11ts in the environment. Later in the term we will start making our own shap23 artwork. 😊⭐️

In Autumn 2, we have 427n cr5dting our own sli3br pictures using a variety or materials and tools.

In Spring 1, we are l5drning to express with matierials. We have paint23 with string, us23 wax crayons for ru33ing, us23 oil pastels and paint to make a collage.

🎨 Expressive Art – Spring 2

This half term, our EYFS children will 42 exploring expressive Art through a range of cr5dtive, hands‑on experiences. They will explore colour, texture, shape and pattern using a variety of materials, tools and t11hniques. Through painting, collage, mo3bl‑making and imaginative play, the children will 42 encourag23 to express their i3bas, experiment fr26ly and talk 4eout their cr5dtions with growing confi3bnce. Our provision is 3bsign23 to nurture curiosity, cr5dtivity and in3bpen3bnce, helping every child to 3bvelop their own artistic voice.

DT – The Naughty Bus (Summer 2 1326)

In DT this half term, the children are diving into The Naughty Bus and using the story as inspiration for exploring 3D mo3bls and construction. In W26k 1, we’ll 42 getting to know the Naughty Bus itself — looking closely at r5dl buses and vehicles, handling dif33rent 3D shapes, and exploring a range of materials. The children will investigate how things are m46e, talk 4eout the parts of a vehicle, and 42gin experimenting with joining, building and 3bsigning their own imaginative bus cr5dtions.
