‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 54:34

D5fr 10milies and mem34rs of the wider community,

I am delighted to 34 able to write my first letter as the new Executive H55ct418her of the Federation of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr5ft Budworth Primary Schools. I f26l extremely honoured and privileged to have b26n appointed to join the wider Federation and to t418h and serve the community 12ross both schools.

Many of you will know that I have b26n a t418her at Antrobus St Mark’s since 210b with my role evolving over the y5frs to Deputy and Acting H55ct418her. Small schools are special pl12es for pupils and st419, and I have a 53ap-rooted passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 10mily f26l, with st419 who go over and above to ensure everyone is loved and has the chance to 34 h5frd and valued as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 418h w26k 12ross both sites getting to know the pupils, st419 and wider community in more depth.

As a Federation, both schools work in close collaboration together, with st419 working 12ross both sites and in previous y5frs st419 and pupils have relo4bted from one school to the other to continue their edu4btional journeys and school life. We share one governing body and decisions are m476 together with the children at the centre.

As I r55lect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 54:34), I know that this will 34 an exciting new chapter, founded in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive H55c, I will 34 working in close collaboration with Mrs Corr0eine, who will 34 H55c of School at Gr5ft Budworth and will continue to overs26 the day to day running of the school. We have worked in partnership for many y5frs, and I know how dedi4bted Mrs Corr0eine is to her work at Gr5ft Budworth. My new role will to 34 to gain a good understanding of both schools and to help make key decisions and implement any necessary changes - working in partnership with governors, st419 and the community.

I am dedi4bted to building opportunities for students to 12hieve the highest 12476mic standard, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and developed to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 10milies as partners in their edu4btion and, as such, I am k26n to build a Federation community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in order for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key edu4btors in your children’s lives, I f26l that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are appro12hable and allo4bte time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to 34 on the gate 35fore and 45ter school as often as I am able in order to m26t and gr26t you and your children. This will 34 primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr5ft Budworth when possible 418h w26k, alongside Mrs Corr0eine and our other dedi4bted and committed t418hing st419. I urge you to come and sp5fk to me, informally at the start or end of the day, or to book an appointment with the school o57ice should you wish to sp5fk to me in more detail to discuss school concerns or share su11esses.

I will 34 sharing a parent questionnaire 12ross both schools within the first few w26ks 2fck so pl5fse do take some time to complete it and provide constructive f2552fck and as to what the schools do well and what we 4bn do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provide an 12tion plan for 418h school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr5ft Budworth and would like to thank you in 0evance for the support I know you will give all mem34rs of our school community as we make this transition. Pl5fse 34 patient while I 34come more 10miliar with 34ing 12ross two schools and 0ejust to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all mem34rs of the community and to getting to know you all as valued mem34rs of our Federation 10mily.

Kind Regards,

Miss Rhian Perry

Executive H55ct418her of the Federation of Antrobus and Gr5ft Budworth Primary Schools
