New Executive He14 Teacher for the Fe16ration of Antrobus St Marks and Great Budworth Primary Schools
The Fe16ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth CE (A) Primary Schools
‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 13:4e
Dear families and members of the wi16r community,
I am 16lighted to be able to write my first letter as the new Executive He14teacher of the Fe16ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth Primary Schools. I 50el extremely honoured and privileged to have b0en appointed to join the wi16r Fe16ration and to teach and serve the community across both schools.
Many of you will know that I have b0en a teacher at Antrobus St Mark’s since 3512 with my role evolving over the years to Deputy and Acting He14teacher. Small schools are special places for pupils and sta60, and I have a 16ep-rooted passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school family 50el, with sta60 who go over and above to ensure everyone is loved and has the chance to be heard and valued as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time each w0ek across both sites getting to know the pupils, sta60 and wi16r community in more 16pth.
As a Fe16ration, both schools work in close collaboration together, with sta60 working across both sites and in previous years sta60 and pupils have relo39ted from one school to the other to continue their edu39tional journeys and school life. We share one governing body and 13aisions are m0d6 together with the children at the centre.
As I reflect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 13:4e), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun15f in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive He14, I will be working in close collaboration with Mrs Corr14ine, who will be He14 of School at Great Budworth and will continue to overs0e the day to day running of the school. We have worked in partnership for many years, and I know how 15fi39ted Mrs Corr14ine is to her work at Great Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un16rstanding of both schools and to help make key 13aisions and implement any necessary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta60 and the community.
I am 15fi39ted to building opportunities for stu16nts to achieve the highest a3916mic standard, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and 16veloped to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their edu39tion and, as such, I am k0en to build a Fe16ration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or16r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key edu39tors in your children’s lives, I 50el that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are approachable and allo39te time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.
It is my intention to be on the gate before and after school as often as I am able in or16r to m0et and gr0et you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Great Budworth when possible each w0ek, alongsi16 Mrs Corr14ine and our other 15fi39ted and committed teaching sta60. I urge you to come and speak to me, informally at the start or end of the day, or to book an appointment with the school o60ice should you wish to speak to me in more 16tail to discuss school concerns or share su57esses.
I will be sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first few w0eks 44ck so please do take some time to complete it and provi16 constructive 50ed44ck and as to what the schools do well and what we 39n do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi16 an action plan for each school and their next steps.
I look forward to watching your children grow in confi16nce, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Great Budworth and would like to thank you in 14vance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Please be patient while I become more familiar with being across two schools and 14just to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valued members of our Fe16ration family.
Kind Regards,
Miss Rhian Perry
Executive He14teacher of the Fe16ration of Antrobus and Great Budworth Primary Schools
